YB3 series explosion-proof three-phase asynchronous motor is designed and developed by taking YB2 series explosion-proof series motor as the catching-up target and combining with the actual situation of China's explosion-proof motor industry and market, which is the newer generation of YB2 series explosion-proof motor, and it is a new generation of more advanced, safer and reliable power equipment for coal mine, petroleum, chemical industry and other industries.

YB3 series explosion-proof three-phase asynchronous motors have the following main advantages

1. Explosion-proof performance in line with the new standards: explosion-proof performance in line with GB3836.1-2010 “explosive atmosphere Part 1: General Requirements for Equipment” and GB3836.2-2010 “explosive atmosphere Part 2: by the explosion-proof enclosure ‘d’ protection of the equipment ”provisions, but also in line with the IEC60079-1 and European standards.

2. High explosion-proof safety and reliable operation: the motor protection level is IP55, the shaft through part adopts V-type shaft sealing ring, the junction box adopts round stop plus sealing ring, and the processing precision of the main parts is improved, which improves the IP54 in dustproof and waterproofing by one level compared with that of the YB2 series, so that the motor operation is more reliable.

3. Excellent performance indicators, high efficiency: efficiency indicators in line with GB18613-2012 level 3, energy saving effect is remarkable.

The explosion-proof marking of this series of motors is ExdI AT4 Gb, Exd I BT4 Gb.

dIAT4 Gb is applicable to the environment where explosive gas mixtures exist in the factory with Class II, Level A, temperature groups T1, T2, T3 and T4.

dIBT4 is applicable to the environment where explosive gas mixtures of groups T1, T2, T3 and T4 are present in class II, class B, temperature groups for factory use.
